Synopsis: Falling in love was not something that came into Grey Nora plans. I had never felt anything special for any of the boys in his school, although his best friends, Vee, always try to convince the opposite. Then came Patch.
With its open smile and eyes that seem to know inside, Nora finds herself attracted to him despite what he says his head.

But after a few scary encounters, Nora not sure who to trust. Patch appears to be in the same places where she is and know much more about you than you know your closest friends. He does not know whether to get carried away by his love and fall into his arms ... or run at all in a hurry. And when a little research trying to find some answers that will haunt head, is a truth that is far more disturbing than any of the feelings it arouses Patch.

now Nora is at the center of an ancient battle between the immortal and the fallen .... and when the time comes to make decisions, the wrong choice could cost you your life.

My Rating:

As the world begins to read Crescendo, the second part of this saga (which I hope will be one of three books: S) , I will leave my review This first work of Becca Fitzpatrick.

Patch Cipriano is a rare dangerous guy, different, and he's hot (Let's face it) . It's a bad guy-bad from beginning to pa, his mocking smile is an attractive and carefree attitude is quite annoying. And Patch has come to put Nora's world upside down.

Nora, is the typical good girl American dream of going to a good college (in The Ivy , obviously) , is studious, dedicated and have a friend who is much more outgoing she . And as expected (not a big surprise: S) , Nora NO is popular. Then one day, thanks to the "teacher" of Biology, the poor girl that ends up being companion and annoying oh-what-handsome boy ... And then his life begins to change completely .

Nora begins to live strange moments, involving men in balaclavas, car accidents and some other things that NEVER had happened ... Until Patch began to be his classmate (Coincidence? ... Hmmm, it's definitely something we discover by reading xDDD)

I admit that at first I did not see much future for the book. The prologue does not call me a lot of attention from the outset and was routed to the track, but I think, without much success. But in the following pages, when the story begins to be told in first person by Nora, the story becomes more light and fun, and the first meeting with Patch gives necessary sense of mystery and arrogance (by him xDD)

I must also admit that I bought the book because I LOVE cover (yeah, I'm a bit influence on that: S) , and now I do not regret it. The book is entertaining, fun, easy to read and dialogues that will take big smiles and a few scenes and chapters that leave you intrigued about what could happen.

While I believe that some things are missing. In many chapters the author introduces issues that simply do not complete or are not flashy. I would have liked to know more about Patch and not just a couple of unfinished memories. definitely had waited more than Nora, given its reserved attitude and smarty-expected to be more vigorous and skeptical and perhaps less silly (do not know why all the characters have to be a bit too silly: S).

I would have liked the central theme was not taken so lightly, in a chapter that clarifying the knot of history and simply almost-almost falls a little monotony. Also, I think the writer devoted many pages to be introduced into the story and eventually ran to end it all, making many important events happen in a couple of pages, missing the proper inflection in each of them.

And ultimately, I think if it were not for the arrogant, full of bad-boy, and no solution wiseass Patch, the book had gone well ... He is the center history. enjoyed every conversation between Nora and Patch, of his attitude, his way of "playing" with her enjoyed the pseudo-mystery author handles and easy points and well-posed characters.

is a simple story, fun and well worth a read. If you have not taken the time to take a chance on this book, do it, because you're missing a good story and a guy who may love you: P
