Sample Thank Email For Interview

Review - Private (Kate Brian)

Name: Private.
Author: Kate Brian
Release Date: February June 7, 2006
Synopsis: Tradition, Honor, Excellence ... and secrets so dark they are almost invisible.
The quinceaƱera Reed Brennan wins a scholarship to Easton Academy, the golden ticket away from her mother-swallow pills and smelly current and suburban life. But when it comes to the beautiful campus full of tradition of Easton, everyone is a little more sophisticated, a little more beautiful, and more wealthy than they thought possible. Reed realizes that although it was accepted in Easton, Easton has not accepted it. It feels like being outside, looking in..
Then she meets girls Billings.
They are girls most beautiful, intelligent and intensely confident campus . And they know. They carry all the power in a world where power is fleeting but means everything. Reed promises to do whatever it takes to be accepted into his inner circle.
Reed uses all of herself - good, bad, beautiful-to get closer to the Billings Girls. Quickly discovers that inside their secret parties and tons of attitude, hanging in their closets full of designer clothes, the Billings Girls have secrets. And they will do anything to keep their secrets private.

Score:

Reed Brennan to escape from his house. In the monotony of their small village in the middle of middle America, where nothing ever happens, where he has lived all his life and where have to endure their mother addicted to self-medication. And what is the solution? Moving away from home and start a school year in a new environment. In a new city, a new school and new friends are totally different from it.

And thus Reed comes to Easton, one of the best U.S. schools, where children attend the best families (businessmen, ambassadors, senators, etc. . etc.) , which are totally different to her. And with that began his first adventure: fit into a world that is not yours, but begins to desire little by little.

Reed is a normal girl, pretty (but not too much), mediadamente intelligent, insecure, a tomboy and very introverted. Never has had a true friend and has always felt more comfortable with the guys. But he decides to change, decide to be a new Reed and face the new challenge of living in Easton.

The story is slight, the chapters are simple with titles that give you a comprehensive overview of what you will read. The book is told in first person, which leads directly to thoughts and desires of Reed, which are like those of any teenager, sometimes unpredictable, stupid others and governed entirely by hormones and the desire to feel belongs to a place.

But in this story not only Reed is the chief. There is another group of girls: The Billings. Girls most diabolical around the campus beautiful, rich, successful, intelligent and get everything they want regardless of boundaries. are the tip of the social pyramid and Reed wants Easton (at all costs) be like them. And I must say that when these girls powerpuff on the scene, things get more fun (or heavy, depending on how you look XD).

with Reed trying to do whatever it takes to be with the Billings and change your sad life, the Billings doing what they want (because they are Billings, and Billings = importance, duh) the story is entertaining and enjoyed very much . Obviously, there are some frustrating moments where you'd like to give a jolt to Reed for being sooo stupid, or uttering some decent insults nothing against Noelle, Ariana, Kiran and Taylor, the Powerpuff main leaders of the Billings.

But we must admit that without the evil daring of these four, the book would not be beaten. Reed is flat and often silly , but sometimes gives his moments of lucidity that makes you say: Well, girl!

But I am of those who love evil, so watch the action Billings has been what has led me to give the perfect score. So you're a history with which entertain and enjoy once again the superiority of popularity in American schools, this book is what you want. Furthermore, it is clear that as good teenagers' book, there are sooooo many cute guys and relationships.

Fresh, youthful, and a simple script, Private is a must read if you enjoyed the series as Gossip Girl.

Cervical Mucus If You Pregnant

Review - Hex Hall (Rachel Hawkins)

Name: Hex Hall
Author: Rachel Hawkins
Release Date: in English (March 2, 2010, 323 pages)
Synopsis: three years ago, Sophie Mercer found she was a witch. What has gotten into some entanglements. His mother has not provided with support provided as much as he could, in consultation with the distant father of Sophie, an elusive European magician, only when necessary. But when Sophie attracts much attention from humans because of a spell that went terribly wrong on the night of graduation, his father who decides his punishment: exile to Hex Hall, an isolated reform school for wayward wonders, better known as witches, fairies, and shifter.

For the term of his first day among their peers, teen events, Sophie has a high enough score: three powerful enemies who look like supermodels, a futile crush on a beautiful witch, a chilling ghost that follows closely, and a new roommate who is neither more nor less than the most hated person and the only vampire on campus. Worse, Sophie soon notices a mysterious predator has been targeting students, and his only friend is the main suspect.

While a number of outdated and bloody mysteries begin to converge, Sophie prepares for the biggest threat of all: an ancient secret society determined to destroy all the wonders, especially to her.

Scoring ...

I hope you had a lot of fun ... Halloween. And here I leave a new review, which has little to do with witches and little things supernatural.

I think the synopsis is quite explanatory. Sophie is a witch . But no good. She is a wicked witch (and I do not mean to be evil, but because it's bad sucks type in the sense of magic goes wrong) , and therefore failed to prevent their spells draw the attention of humans, ends up being locked in Hecate (Hex Hall for residents) . Well, the fun problems start at the very moment he walks on the remote property.

Sophia is a good girl . As usual in American juvenile literature, she is the typical girl-of-the-side . Since its untamed brown hair, to the charming freckles and short stature, Sophie is a girl average the only difference being that his father is a wizard, which makes her a witch ... What leads to the reformatory for those phenomena special guys almost have discovered their magical world.

The story begins in a fun and entertaining . Sophie refuses to be confined in Hex Hall, but there is no way to deny that, so I just resigned to "justify closure." And is there knows best, worst and most rare of your world (a world that was always away to be raised by her human mother).

The writing is simple and entertaining, is told in first person, So we share in the feelings and thoughts of Sophie, who are funny and poignant. We see her interacting with all your new peers and strangers. Since the only vampire to get along with all Hex Hall, to ignite the fury of the Trinity (the three most powerful black witch school) , who for some reason want to have it in your Coven.

with funny situations, simple conversations, and spells on clothes, Rachel takes us into the world of magic, where the change- However, witches, fairies and vampires live together in peace, trying to avoid calling the attention of humans. With a quick start in which Sophie is beginning to adapt quite resignation, the writer introduces us to this new world and then fill us full of strange events, occult societies (who are looking to end the witch ) , ghosts and bullies.

definitely is a book that entertains and makes you loose a lot of laughs, it shows you a world governed by supernatural beings themselves throughout life. But nothing more than a writing remarkably common. The author falls into the same dramas juveniles as always: love Sophie Archer, he's popular girl's boyfriend, the popular girl wanting blood his head for not joining their coven, (here begins the touch of the novel) coven suffering strange accidents at school, and school become increasingly insecure in the hands of secret societies.

I believe that although it was very entertaining and fun to read, did not surprise me nothing. Even the world of magic, which is well described and substantiated seemed innovative. The story, entertaining and everything is monotonous (and quite similar to that of a magician ) and although secret societies and strange events are to raise an air of mystery is not enough to make Hall of Hex a memorable novel.

With a few chapters good and a fairly open end, the book is saved from being a failure . Hex Hall is the kind of novel you read in an afternoon of boredom, that entertains you for a while, but do not get stuck in your head for innovation or unforgettable characters. The ending leaves you in suspense, which takes you definitely want to read the second part (at least to me, I hate sagas left incomplete: S) . So if you want something simple, fun, without much real drama, Hex Hall is the ideal novel to kill time.

Data extras.

Demonglass , the next in the series, will hit American bookstores in March next year (I'll leave the synopsis in my next WoW)

And while Americans enjoy the second installment in 2011, the English will do the first, to be published in January by Country , and bearing the name of Hex Hall. CONVICTION
